HWTC is pleased to announce that through Toronto Pearson’s Uplift Fund, we’ve welcomed a new cohort of women to our BEACON (Building Equity and Championing Opportunities Now) Program. The BEACON Program provides racialized women in hospitality with the tools and training to move into supervisory and management roles. By promoting talent from within, BEACON helps employers strengthen their workplace equity and leadership capacity.
Last week we attended the celebration of the recipients of this year’s Toronto Pearson Uplift Fund, and recognized organizations across the GTA who are helping to expand access to training, employment supports, and career development opportunities. We look forward to being part of the impact these different projects will have on our communities.
