In partnership with Distillery Restaurant Corp (DRC), HWTC, Dixon Hall, and YWCA brought qualified, pre-screened candidates through DRC’s doors as they look to recruit seasonal hires for their Winter Village.
Through this hiring fair, DRC hired 116 candidates – 65 of which were referrals from HWTC. This continued, multi-year partnership promises to bring more of HWTC’s skills-ready talent to DRC for future hires.
“The Distillery Restaurants Corp.’s recruitment efforts are nothing without the HWTC. We started working with HWTC coming out of the pandemic when restaurant candidates were hard to find, and we were pulling every lever to see what would work. The element that truly differentiates HWTC is the people in the organization and their dedication to injecting hospitality into everything they do,” says Andrea Sutherland, Director of Talent and Culture at Distillery Restaurants Corp.
“More than providing a service, HWTC has built a community where everyone takes care of one another. HWTC sources excellent candidates for us and prepares them for a career in hospitality, but they also support candidates who we source from referrals and help them find their next role after our season ends.”
